About the author...

T he author and Webmaster of this site is  Kelly Drown . Almost every graphic on this site was created by Kelly, and all graphics utilizing photographic material are from his own work and collections of photographs.

Kelly's main job is a Network Systems Administrator for a large data processing company here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Most of the time during the day is spent analyzing problems with complex operating systems and applications, and building/configuring hardware. That exercises the logic side; He has built this site and several others like it to exercise his creative side as well. Theoretically it keeps both the logic and creative sides sharp as they often flow into each other. Within his company he has also authored web pages, but doesn't get to be quite as creative as what you find here. This is the third complete rebuild of the Project TransAM site since it first took form in 1998, and it gets a little better each time. So, don't be surprised when it happens again! :-)

Most of this site is dedicated to the preservation of the F-Body. It honors the authors of the many projects and modifications that make these cars enjoyable to everyone who wants to work on their own car. When Kelly first started working on his car, there weren't any install or fix-it guides out there, or very few and rare to find. So he decided to create his own. Once it caught on, he decided to start cataloguing them so that there could be one place to go for all F-Body fans, and find all the information you need. The result is what you see here at Project TransAM.
